The 2008 housing crisis is synonymous with predatory lending

Across the United States today are people in foreclosure. Some of these foreclosures are new, and others are based in the 2008-housing crisis. With such a large amount of homeowners in default from the 2008 sub-prime failure, many individuals have been waiting for years to find assistance from their lending institution, and local, and federal government.

The banking institutions, along with certain government agencies, have become inefficient in finding solutions for millions of desperate homeowners. Some homeowners have even begun the process of suing the bank that handed them their mortgage.

The 2008 housing crisis is synonymous with predatory lending. Many people today believe they were taken advantage of, and have decided to do something about it. There have been cases where homeowners have brought their lending institutions to court over faulty lending practices.
